MVS Radio Personality:                                               1 of 3

This is the primary data entry screen for defining a personality.  A MVS
personality consists of one or more modes ( 16 channels per mode ).  Each
channel is associated with a set of options.  These options consist of a 
signaling scheme, channel guard specification and STE.

The steps involved in defining a mode are:

1.  Transmit and receive frequency definition.

2.  Channel guard definition.

3.  Squelch tail elimination enable or disable.

4.  Carrier control timer enable or disable.


To save the personality to disk, press Back ( F10 ).  A prompt is displayed
soliciting the filename for the personality.

The other options available from this screen are:

     F4 - Select this option if you want to:
          Enter textual information pertaining to the personality.

     F6 - Select this option if you want to:
          Activate the Type 99 window.

     F7 - Select this option if you want to:
          Enter option data common to all channels.
