No:
   The radio stops scanning when the
   microphone is removed from the
   hook-switch bracket.

Yes:
   The radio will not alter its scan
   when the microphone is removed

   The radio will either transmit on
   the receive channel or revert to
   selected channel depending on the
   programming of the Scan Transmit
   Channel.
